Garden City Bearkats (Garden City, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Grape Creek Eagles (San Angelo, TX), 37-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Garden City upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Bearkats travel to Forsan (Forsan, TX) to clash with the Buffaloes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Forsan lost 63-28 in their recent non-league bout against Klondike (Lamesa, TX)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Grape Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 26-3 non-league win over Eden (Eden, TX).
