Mississippi High School Basketball - Murrah tipped by Holmes County Central

The Holmes County Central Jaguars basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Murrah Mustangs to 55 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Monday.

The Jaguars now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenwood for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Holmes County Central will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 66-20 non-league loss to Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.

The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Ridgeland nudged Gentry (Indianola, MS), 47-35, in a non-league contest.
