Indiana High School Basketball - Northfield holds off Peru

November 21, 2022: Peru, IN 46970

Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Northfield Norsemen (Wabash, IN) and the host Peru Tigers (Peru, IN), saw Northfield's basketball squad hold off Peru by a tally of 51-45.

With the victory, Northfield improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Norsemen travel to Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN) to confront the Braves in a Three Rivers challenge on Tuesday, November 29. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Maconaquah lost 56-25 in their recent league challenge against Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Taylor Titans (Kokomo, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 28. Peru will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 51-2 non-league loss to Frankton (Frankton, IN).
