Alabama High School Basketball - Pike County beaten by Ariton

In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Ariton Purple Cats basketball team scored a good 64-53 triumph over the Pike County Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Purple Cats face the Houston Academy Raiders (Dothan, AL) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, November 22. Ariton will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 68-44 non-league win over Geneva County (Hartford, AL).

With the defeat, Pike County moves to 0-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Dale County (Midland City, AL) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, December 1. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-2. Dale County lost 55-22 in their recent non-league test against Zion Chapel (Jack, AL)
