V.R. Eaton Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX), 49-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, V.R. Eaton upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Rams play the Byron Nelson Bobcat (Trophy Club, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Berkner will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Bobcat come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 59-44 non-league win over Prosper (Prosper, TX).
