The Canyon View Jaguars basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Phoenix Christian Cougars to 57 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Jaguars now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 22. Canyon View will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 59-48 non-league loss to Phoenix Christian (Phoenix, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 0-1.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Glendale, AZ). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Independence was routed by Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ), 69-48, in a non-league contest.
