The Life Waxahachie Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Forney Jackrabbits to 47 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Life Waxahachie will battle a Texans team coming off a 64-54 non-league loss to Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX). The Texans record now stands at 3-5.

The Jackrabbits (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kaufman (Kaufman, TX). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Kaufman ran past Athens (Athens, TX), 59-46, in a non-league contest.
