The Hyde Park Thunderbirds (Chicago, IL) basketball crushed the host Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL), 57-26 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Thunderbirds (1-0) will now prepare for their test against North Lawndale (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, North Lawndale walloped Crane Medical (Chicago, IL), 86-65, in a non-league test.
The Meteors now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Oak Forest for a South Suburban test on Thursday, December 7.
