Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL), 55-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Libertyville upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, November 24. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Prospect won 62-53 in their recent non-league bout against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 22. Proviso West will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Sequoits go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 52-20 non-league loss to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL).
