The McAllen Memorial Mustangs basketball team (McAllen, TX), was nudged 61-58 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX)

The Mustangs now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Augustine for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 28.

The Mustangs (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against San Benito (San Benito, TX). The Greyhounds come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, San Benito edged Donna (Donna, TX), 53-32, in a non-league battle.
