The Pearl River Rebels basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Sumner Cowboys to 26 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rebels now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Terrebonne for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 22. Pearl River will battle a Gators team coming off a 71-38 non-league loss to Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA). The Gators record now stands at 0-2.

The Cowboys (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against South Plaquemines (Buras, LA). The Hurricanes enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, South Plaquemines was routed by Sarah T. Reed (New Orleans, LA), 45-33, in a non-league contest.
