Woodland Wolves (Woodland, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host San Juan Spartans (Citrus Heights, CA), 62-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Woodland upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Esparto (Esparto, CA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Spartans play the Sacramento Waldorf Waves (Fair Oaks, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 25. San Juan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Waves come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 68-53 non-league loss to Valley Christian (Roseville, CA).
