Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Unaka Rangers (Elizabethton, TN), 54-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Volunteer upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 22. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Sullivan East lost 63-60 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Mission (Grundy, VA)

Next up, the Rangers play the Mountain Mission Challengers (Grundy, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 22. Unaka will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Challengers come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 63-60 non-league win over Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN).
