The Herscher Tigers basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers to 26 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Streator for a Illinois Central 8 contest on Monday, November 27. Herscher will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-13 non-league loss to Morris (Morris, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.

The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-Point (Cullom, IL). The Chargers enter the River Valley contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Tri-Point was defeated by Ridgeview (Colfax, IL), 55-32, in a non-league contest.
