Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Treynor Cardinals (Treynor, IA), 58-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Harlan upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cyclones host St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA) to play the Falcons in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-0. St. Albert won 70-35 in their recent non-league bout against Tri-Center (Neola, IA)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Treynor will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
