Jasper Vikings (Jasper, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Pelham Panthers (Pelham, AL), 48-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jasper upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 22. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Vestavia Hills won 49-47 in their recent non-league bout against Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Marbury Bulldogs (Marbury, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 27. Pelham will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 53-31 non-league win over Tallassee (Tallassee, AL).
