The Van Alstyne Panthers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Lone Oak Buffaloes to 28 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prestonwood Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 28. Van Alstyne will face a Lions team coming off a 60-52 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX). The Lions record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Lone Oak moves to 2-2 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Mineola (Mineola, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 28. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a record of 3-5. Mineola lost 56-31 in their recent non-league game against Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX)
