The Mandarin Mustangs ran past the host Luella Lions basketball team by a final score of 35-27 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Atlantic Coast Stingrays (Jacksonville, FL) in a 7A District 1 game, on Thursday, November 30. Mandarin will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.

With the defeat, Luella moves to 0-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Hampton (Hampton, GA) to face the Hornets in a AAAA Region 5 game on Friday, December 1. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 0-2.
