The Mitchell Bluejackets basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Springs Valley Blackhawks to 51 in the Bluejackets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bluejackets now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brown County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Mitchell will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-49 league loss to Northview (Brazil, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
The Blackhawks (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN). The Vikings enter the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Barr-Reeve overcame Mitchell (Mitchell, IN), 61-31, in a non-league match.
