The Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA), 51-48 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (3-0) will now prepare for their test against North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Mountaineers go into the AA Region 7 test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, North Murray got by Central (Carrollton, GA), 57-33, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgeland for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 28.
