The Ramsay Rams (Birmingham, AL) basketball nipped the host Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL), 44-40 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rams (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Plainview (Rainsville, AL). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Plainview got by Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL), 65-39, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Prattville for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 28. Thompson will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 60-54 non-league win over Stanhope Elmore (Millbrook, AL). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
