Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC), 20-12 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cardinal Gibbons upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Hillside (Durham, NC) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Jordan Falcons (Durham, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Millbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 30-27 non-league win over Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
