The Apex Friendship Patriots basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Topsail Pirates to 38 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern Durham for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Apex Friendship will meet a Knights team coming off a 52-52 non-league Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Knights record now stands at 0-0.

The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Dixon triumphed over Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC), 46-26, in a non-league contest.
