With the victory, Monta Vista upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Matadors host Overfelt (San Jose, CA) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Monday, November 27. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Eagles play the Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 25. Harker will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
