The McMinn County Cherokees basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Loudon Redskins to 62 in the Cherokees non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cherokees now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Maryville for a non-league game on Monday, November 25. McMinn County will confront a Red Rebels team coming off a 59-58 non-league win over Independence (Thompson's Station, TN). The Red Rebels record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Loudon falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Tellico Plains (Tellico Plains, TN) to confront the Bears in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. The Bears go into the game with a record of 2-1. Tellico Plains won 83-56 in their recent non-league game against King's Academy (Seymour, TN)
