The St. John Eagles basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Academy of Our Lady Penguins to 27 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Central Private for a non-league game on Monday, November 25.
With the loss, Academy of Our Lady falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Penguins host New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy (New Orleans, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 0-3. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy lost 58-18 in their recent non-league game against Pearl River (Pearl River, LA)
