The Bolsa Grande Matadors basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting NOVA Academy Eagles to 3 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Matadors now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Orange for a Garden Grove game on Tuesday, November 26. Bolsa Grande will play a Panthers team coming off a 34-27 non-league win over Ramona Convent (Alhambra, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, NOVA Academy falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Newport Christian (Newport Beach, CA) to battle the Seahawks in a non-league contest on Monday, December 2. The Seahawks go into the contest with a record of 0-0.
