The Brooks Lions basketball team scored 38 points and limited the host Colbert Heights Wildcats to 35 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lauderdale County for a non-league game on Friday, November 29.
With the loss, Colbert Heights falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-2. Covenant Christian won 39-35 in their recent non-league game against Cherokee (Cherokee, AL)
