The Hooks Hornets basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Honey Grove Warriors to 45 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hornets now have a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Carthage for a non-league game on Friday, November 22. Hooks will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 39-25 non-league win over West Rusk (New London, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Honey Grove falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Ropes (Ropesville, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, November 22. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-1. Ropes lost 50-40 in their recent non-league game against Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX)
