In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Taft Raiders basketball team scored a big 63-15 triumph over the KIPP Somos Collegiate Tigers.

The Raiders (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Harlandale (San Antonio, TX). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Harlandale smashed Uvalde (Uvalde, TX), 63-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 22.
