Texas High School Basketball - Wharton overwhelmed by Lamar Consolidated

In Thursday's non-league test, the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Wharton Tigers (Wharton, TX), by a score of 62-40.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the St. Agnes Academy Tigers (Houston, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, November 26. Lamar Consolidated will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 48-28 non-league win over Second Baptist (Houston, TX).

The Tigers (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Danbury (Danbury, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Danbury was routed by Columbia (West Columbia, TX), 39-33, in a non-league test.
