Illinois High School Basketball - Lexington overwhelms Peoria Heights

The Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Peoria Heights Patriots to 28 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Minutemen now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Ridgeview for a non-league game on Friday, November 22. Lexington will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 55-17 non-league loss to Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Peoria Heights falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Lewistown (Lewistown, IL) to confront the Indians in a Prairieland game on Monday, November 25. The Indians go into the game with a record of 2-0.
