The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) and the host NCSSM: Morganton Dragons (Morganton, NC), observed Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy's basketball team overwhelm NCSSM: Morganton by a score of 77-14.

The Gryphons (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC). The Raptors come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Lake Lure Classical Academy was routed by Chase (Forest City, NC), 27-20, in a non-league challenge.
