North Carolina High School Basketball - West Charlotte thwarts Palisades

November 21, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28216

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC), observed West Charlotte's basketball team knock off Palisades by a score of 56-48.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Pumas encounter the West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 26. Palisades will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 59-20 non-league loss to Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC).
