Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Bishop Conaty-Loretto Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mary Star of the Sea advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Stars travel to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Tuesday, November 26. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-0. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Hoover (Glendale, CA)

The Wildcats now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Bernard for a Santa Fe test on Thursday, December 5.
