The Cocoa Beach Minutemen basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Palm Bay Pirates to 53 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Minutemen now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Shore for a non-league game on Friday, November 22. Cocoa Beach will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 72-35 non-league loss to Heritage (Palm Bay, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Palm Bay falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Rockledge (Rockledge, FL) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 8. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 2-0.
