Texas High School Basketball - Caney Creek can't get by Marshall

Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Caney Creek Panthers (Conroe, TX), 69-65 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Marshall advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Bastrop (Bastrop, TX) to battle the Bears in a non-league contest on Saturday, November 22. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 0-4. Bastrop lost 68-44 in their recent non-league contest against Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX)

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Hays Hawks (Buda, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 22. Caney Creek will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 67-34 non-league loss to Freeman (Katy, TX).
