In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Gadsden City Titans basketball team scored a good 70-55 triumph over the Midfield Patriots.
The Titans (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Coosa (Rome, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Coosa was topped by Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA), 48-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots confront the Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, November 24. Midfield will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Thundering Herd go into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 74-46 non-league loss to Wenonah (Birmingham, AL).
