In Friday's non-league contest, the host South Paulding Spartans basketball team scored a good 71-60 triumph over the Hiram Hornets.
The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, North Cobb was topped by Paulding County (Dallas, GA), 60-55, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) in a non-league match, on Monday, November 24. Hiram will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 48-30 non-league win over Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA).
