Rising Star Wildcats (Rising Star, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Iredell Dragons (Iredell, TX), 45-22 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Rising Star advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Gorman (Gorman, TX) to battle the Panthers in a non-league contest on Monday, November 24. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Gorman lost 66-27 in their recent non-league contest against Bangs (Bangs, TX)

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Covington Owls (Covington, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 9. Iredell will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
