Texas High School Basketball - Richards nudges Mumford

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Richards Panthers (Richards, TX) and the visiting Mumford Mustangs (Mumford, TX), observed Richards's basketball team edge Mumford by a score of 40-38.

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosehill Christian (Tomball, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Rosehill Christian was tipped by Cooper (The Woodlands, TX), 86-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Rockdale Tigers (Rockdale, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 25. Mumford will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 53-50 non-league loss to Salado (Salado, TX).
