The Stratford Spartans basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Pasadena Memorial Mavericks to 45 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Crosby for a non-league game on Saturday, November 22. Stratford will confront a Cougars team coming off a 74-52 non-league loss to Dawson (Pearland, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.

The Mavericks (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Sam Rayburn (Pasadena, TX). The Texans enter the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Sam Rayburn was defeated by Memorial (Houston, TX), 52-43, in a non-league outing.
