The Wells Pirates (Wells, TX) basketball edged the visiting Pineywoods Community Academy Timberwolves (Lufkin, TX), 64-63 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Corrigan-Camden for a non-league bout on Monday, November 24. Wells will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-42 non-league loss to Neches (Neches, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
