Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball team smash the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), 68-47 in a non-league contest.

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Cuthbertson smashed Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC), 62-46, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pirates confront the South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, November 24. Porter Ridge will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 68-51 non-league win over Surry Central (Dobson, NC).
