The Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX) basketball edged the visiting Navarro Panthers (Geronimo, TX), 55-51 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now hold a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Floresville for a non-league test on Friday, November 21. Alexander will encounter a Tigers/Jaguars squad coming off a 65-40 non-league loss to Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX). The Tigers/Jaguars record now stands at 2-8.
The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Cole (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Cole held off Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX), 50-22, in a non-league bout.
