The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Community Christian Cyclones (Wilson, NC) and the visiting Jacksonville Christian Academy Conquerors (Jacksonville, NC), observed Community Christian's basketball team edge Jacksonville Christian Academy by a score of 55-50.

The Cyclones (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC). The Spartans enter the Mid-Atlantic Christian - 2A North battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Christ Covenant was nudged by Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC), 38-26, in a league battle.

The Conquerors now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pitt County Pacers for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 2. Jacksonville Christian Academy will battle a Pacers team coming off a 28-26 non-league win over Unity Christian Academy (Chocowinity, NC). The Pacers record now stands at 1-1.
