The Dyer County Choctaws basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles to 25 in the Choctaws non-league triumph on Friday.

The Choctaws now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ripley for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 25.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Ridgeway (Memphis, TN). The Roadrunners come into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Ridgeway was overwhelmed by Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis, TN), 55-24, in a non-league outing.
