The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) and the visiting Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA), observed South Paulding's basketball team overwhelm Hiram by a score of 57-36.

The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Paulding County walloped North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA), 57-53, in a non-league battle.

The Hornets now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennesaw Mountain for a non-league battle on Friday, December 5. Hiram will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 41-29 non-league loss to Salem (Conyers, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-5.
