Texas High School Basketball - Miller drops to Holmes

The Holmes Huskies basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Miller Buccaneers to 30 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Carroll for a non-league game on Friday, November 21. Holmes will play a Tigers team coming off a 46-40 non-league loss to Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-6.

The Buccaneers (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX). The Chargers come into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Veterans Memorial went down by Reagan (San Antonio, TX), 67-34, in a non-league test.
