The Sandy Valley Cardinals basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Minerva Lions to 42 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Strasburg-Franklin for a Inter-Valley test on Wednesday, December 3.

The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH). The Redskins come into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
